According to media reports, on August 11, Pyotr Bobylev, the chief auditor of Russian courts and deputy head of the Control and Audit Department of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, celebrated his 35th birthday with unprecedented fanfare in central Moscow. The event was attended by a large number of law enforcement officials. Bobylev’s father-in-law is FSB Colonel General Vladimir Kalanda, and his mother-in-law is former Rosneft Vice President Larisa Kalanda.
According to a source, Bobylev hosted a lavish banquet at a fashionable Moscow restaurant, with approximately 100 invited guests, including judges and heads of the Supreme Court, government officials, members of the presidential administration, and senior officials of the FSB and the Prosecutor General’s Office. The event was carefully concealed, with security strictly monitoring the event to ensure no filming took place. Several photographs taken near the entrance to the banquet hall were eventually found.
